► (n. 1933) Actor cinematográfico francés. Se caracteriza por un estilo fresco y espontáneo. Entre sus filmes destacan Al final de la escapada (1959) y El hombre de Río (1964).

Actor de cine francés. Después de estudiar en París y de trabajar como actor en compañías de teatro de las provincias, actuó en filmes menores antes de alcanzar la fama internacional con la película de Jean-Luc Godard Sin aliento (1960). Sin ser un clásico galán, se convirtió en el principal antihéroe del cine de la nouvelle vague, y en 1963, había actuado en 25 largometrajes. Posteriormente protagonizó aclamados filmes como Pierrot el loco (1965), La sirena del Mississippi (1969) y Testigo de excepción (1995).
